Information about 5th International Gambling Conference: Problem Gambling 2014 held in Aukland, New Zealand on 19-21 February 2014. This well-established bi-annual event is one of the leading international conferences on problem gambling attracting delegates from New Zealand and around the world.
Up to 16 CEUs will be available to attendees of the Main Conference, where the keynote speaker will be Loreen Rugle, an internationally renowned counselor, trainer, and responsible gambling advisor. The new Master Classes have altered dates also, on 2, 3 and 9 December. Spread over three days, the 2020 International Gaming Summit will include a wide range of sessions focused on key issues facing global gaming including sports betting expansion in the United States, shareholder activism, diversity and inclusion and more. Gambling is a worldwide phenomenon and since its founding in 1996, this organization launched a field of study to explore gambling disorder and has funded some of the most important research in the US and around the world.

The International Conference on Gambling & Risk Taking, organized by UNLV's International Gaming Institute, is the world’s first and finest conference dedicated to the study of all aspects of gambling.
The conference dates back to 1974, when the founding figure in the gambling field, Dr. Bill Eadington, decided to convene a few dozen thinkers to discuss a topic that had received virtually no research attention. Today, this conference is recognized as the premier gathering of gambling intellectuals in the world.
Held only every three years, this conference convenes academics, researchers, and other experts from all fields, representing a diverse array of disciplines and points of view, to present their latest and most important work. More than 600 people from 31 countries took part in the last conference in 2016.
The next conference will be held in Spring 2019.
